Hello! This is Irina, communications executive at intraHouse and proud member of the Spanish team. I recently learned just how important it is for event organizers to have an app, and how useful can OneMobileTool be in such a situation.
Two weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be part of the organizing team of Kimchi 2017, a successful event focused on Korean culture that took place on Gran Canaria and attracted 1,000 people from all over the Canary Islands, North Africa and mainland Spain. As an intraHouse employee, I knew all about the benefits an app would have for my event, so I approached the board with the proposal of using OneMobileTool to create an app for Kimchi 2017 – which they kindly accepted as a personal gift to me and the rest of my Kimchi team.
The event, that was celebrating its fifth edition, was a huge success and everybody loved the app. It included all the information the attendees needed, from the venue map to the possibility of creating their own personalized agenda with the workshops and activities they wanted to attend. People praised the design of app and thought it was very intuitive and useful, one event goer even told us that “every event should have an app like this one!”
Thanks to OneMobileTool, I was able to create the app myself (even though I have no programming skills whatsoever) with a bit of help from a couple of expert colleagues. Kimchi Canarias was a big success and it showed me, my team, and all our stakeholders just how important it is for event organizers to have an app to deliver information straight to the people’s phones in real time.
